Garden in spring

Plantings

Almost everything is in for this year’s garden. The raspberries are growing nicely, and we already have peas and greens ready to harvest. Lupines add color; as will the sunflowers later in the year. We has have onions, garlic, potatoes, and other welcome eatables.

Along with the planting, the drip irrigation system is set up for another season. That includes checking the drip lines for unwanted holes and leaks. An automatic water timer runs for an hour each morning. But it will have to be replaced because the LED screen has become nearly unreadable.

Still missing: The tomatoes are off to a slow start. They’re still in pots.
